Kirsten van de Ven (born in Heesch, 11 May 1985) is a Dutch professional football player who plays as a midfielder in the Damallsvenskan for Tyresö FF. She previously played for Willem II Tilburg. Trained at a university level at the United States, she formerly played for two seasons for Florida State University's women soccer team.
She has played for the Netherlands national team since 2005. Van de Ven played for the Netherlands in the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying rounds.[2] On 23 August 2009 she scored the first goal of the UEFA Women's Euro 2009 at the inaugural match against Ukraine, which marked Netherlands' debut at a final stage.
